Data indicates that student mental health as significantly worsened during the pandemic, according to an article in University Business.
The article notes, 鈥淪ince the campus closed, Denison鈥檚 counselors have seen a higher than expected number of students participating in wellness sessions. They鈥檝e even seen an increase in the number of students participating in Productivity Circle sessions for students with ADHD and similar conditions.
Dustin Brentlinger director of student health and wellness, says. 鈥淲e鈥檙e looking at the fall to try to understand how to provide services,鈥 he says. 鈥淲e will continue to provide access to teletherapy with our counselor and face-to-face with social distancing.鈥
